That last entry was almost two years ago, so let me update you.

Since then, I have made it to my last semester of college, done promotions for Cirque Du Soleil, taken pictures for the Discovery Channel, hemmed Barry Bostwick's pants, was on set with Anakin Skywalker, found a mentor, worked with her on an Off-Broadway play, photoshoots, and a couple tiny movie jobs, moved from Lincoln Park to Lincoln Square, discovered I like goat cheese, took circus class and trapeze class, turned 21, loved yoga until I hurt my back, worked in a haunted house, got published in Time Out Chicago, made the Dean's List, lived with four people (two of them Emilys), half moved into Nick's so tack on another four roommates (counting him), rediscovered my hidden pool skills, had my picture in the Florida Today newspaper, saw Robin Williams, Chris Rock, Eddie Izzard, and Flight of the Conchords shows for free, worked eight jobs, got paid for stiltwalking, started wearing contacts, bought a new camera, SAW NEIL FUCKING GAIMAN, met and killed Amanda Palmer, saw my first flying trapeze, went to a mime show, saw a circus interpretation of Neverwhere, learned how to use a sewing machine, chopped my hair off, grew my hair out, got an art crush on Tim Walker, got wrist tattoos, learned to juggle, fell in love in Chicago and with Chicago, and now I've got plans to move to L.A.

Last night was the most epic adventure of college I've had so far in two years. Fucking A I love this school! And this city. And my life.

The best part of my day is running from one end of the seventh floor hallway to the other with reckless abandon and delight when nobody's looking.

I go back to Chicago soon, thank goodness. This break hasn't turned out to be too bad. I got a fair amount accomplished and recconnected with a lot of important people.

It's definitely time to go back though. It was time to go weeks ago. I'm looking forward to doing color in Photo II and having a math class to struggle over. As I told someone the other day, it will be a problem but at least it will be a familiar problem, unlike most of the things I dealt with last semester.

It will be interesting to start dating papers "2006" and have it sink in that it's a whole new year. 2005 was such a mess. I blame it on the fact that it was an odd number. I'm really looking forward to a nice, smooth 2006.

Back in Massachusetts for Christmas break. I've been back a day and a half and this place has already started to suck the soul out of me.

I miss Chicago.

Do you swear you won't forget me? If I found you, would you let me come and stay?
